Fundamentals Clinic

Our Baseball Fundamentals Clinics are being instructed by the Dearborn Baseball Staff consisting of College and High School Coaches, Tournament Team Coaches and former and current College Baseball Players.

Space is limited to a first-come-first-serve basis, so be sure to register early!

Ages

The Clinics are available to players ages 7 to 14.

Groups will be assigned based on the division level they will be playing in the summer season.

When & Where

The 2-hour clinics are held once a week for 6 weeks from 8 am to 10 am on Saturdays, starting January 11.

All Clinics will be held in the Melvindale Recreation Center at 4300 S. Dearborn St., Melvindale, MI 48122

What's Included in the Clinics?

Hitting

We will teach the basics of hitting proper foot stance, grip and swing work on batting tees and hitting cages.

Pitching

We will teach the basics of pitching including proper grip, foot work (stance), balance, arm angle and follow through.

(Mustang, Bronco, Colt divisions)

Fielding

We will teach the proper field stance, glove position, and throwing technique.

We’ll cover all infield positions - catcher- 1st-2nd-SS-3rd base as well as double play and field knowledge.

Scrimmages

There will be opportunities for some indoor scrimmage game play as well.
